Shay Salhov, an Israeli born saxophonist, received
his B.M. from Berklee College of Music in 2002 and his M.M. from the
Boston Conservatory in 2005. In Boston, Shay studied with George
Garzone, Joe Lovano, Hal Crook, Ed Tomassi and Ken Radnofsky. He
performed professionally in the Boston and New York area from 2000
until his relocation to the Santa Cruz area in 2009. Musicians that
Shay performed and collaborated with on the East Coast include Ayelet
Rose Gottlieb, Ziv Ravitz, Avishai Cohen, Ronen Itzik, Sebastian
Noelle, Eric McPherson, and Warren Wolf.
Shay currently performs and teaches throughout the Bay Area. He has
collaborated with local greats such as John Shifflett, Jason Lewis,
John Donaldson, Stan Poplin, The Realistic Orchestra, Jeff Denson,
Dahveed Behroozi, Wally Schnalle, and Eddie Mendenhall.
Shay performed at the 54th Monterey Jazz Festival, San Jose Jazz
Festival, Kuumbwa Jazz Center, Don Quixote, Moe’s Alley, The Fillmore,
Earth Day San Francisco and many other Bay Area venues.

Pianist and composer Dahveed Behroozi (b. 1981) is
a NYC based musician who currently resides in the San Francisco Bay
Area. His focus is in jazz, classical, and new music. Dahveed’s playing
has been described as, "highly expressive, lyrical and colorful with a
phenomenal facility" by many artists and various publications.
In addition to performing and recording as a leader and soloist,
Dahveed has performed and recorded with Thomas Morgan, Tyshawn Sorey,
Billy Mintz, and Dayna Stephens.
Originally from San Jose, California, Dahveed received his BA degree in
Jazz Piano from The Manhattan School of Music in 2002 where he studied
under Fred Hersch. He then received his Master’s degree from The
Conservatory of Music at Brooklyn College where he studied classical
and contemporary piano literature under Ursula Oppens.
Dahveed is also an active educator and serves on the faculty of Gavilan
College, San Jose State University, and Santa Clara University.

California, bassist Nick Panoutsos divides his time between the
Bay
Area and New York,
where he is pursuing a degree in Jazz Studies at New York University.
Nick has collaborated
with Queens-based singer songwriter duendita, and studied with renowned
drummer Lenny White. In 2018, Nick studied
in Paris, where he performed at the renowned club Duc Des Lombards with
pianist Sébastien Paindestre. Nick has also performed with Steven
Lugerner and Richard Sears, and at venues including the San Jose Jazz
Summer
Fest, Greenwich Village's Bar Next Door, and San Francisco's Club
Deluxe.
He recently recorded a collection of original music with his quartet.
Drummer Jason Lewis has played with a variety of
talented musicians including: Joshua
Breakstone, John Stowell, Gary Burton, James Moody, Mark Murphy, Norma
Winstone, Larry Coryell, Darol Anger, Regina Carter, Johnny Frigo, Ann
Dyer, James Carter, Taylor Eigsti, John Handy, Anton Schwartz, Mark
Levine, Peter Apfelbaum, Cornelius Bumpus, Kurt Elling, and
Boz Scaggs.
