Scott Barnhill Quartet
Saxophonist Scott Barnhill is a second generation
Bay Area jazz musician, son of
vocalist Louise DeLucchi and drummer Buddy Barnhill. He has had the
honor of sharing the stage with Terrance Blanchard, Charlie Haden, Joe
Henderson, Mulgrew Miller, Cedar Walton, Henry Robinette, Joe
Gilman, Jeff Alkire, Peppe Merolla, Peter Horvath, and Zigaboo Modeliste.
Pianist Eddie Mendenhall has performed with Eugene
Wright, Ray
Drummond, Pete
Christlieb, Gary Meek, Manhattan Jazz Quintet, Ali Jackson Jr., Tommy
Campbell,
Calvin Keys, George Young, Peter Erskine, Enrique Iglesias, Peter
Yellin, Virginia
Mayhew, Paul Contos, Vince Lateano, Scott Steed, Steve Houghton, Mark
Sherman,
Akira Tana, and Dottie Dodgion.
Eddie earned a
place in the Monterey Jazz Festival High School
All Star Band where he had the opportunity to
accompany Dizzy Gillespie on the main stage. He is a graduate of the
Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Seven years on the Tokyo jazz scene kept Eddie busy along with
several trips back
to the states.
Eddie is active in jazz education - piano clinician with the Monterey
Jazz Festival, director of Kuumbwa Jazz
Center's Honor Band, and instructor at the
California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, CA.

Wiitala
has played with Jessica Williams, James Moody, Benny Golson, Pete
Jolly, Joe Henderson, Akira Tana, Vince Lateano, Scott Hamilton, Bruce
Forman, Rebecca Parris, Wesla Whitfield, Madeline Eastman, and Jackie
Ryan, among many others.
John was heard previously at Chez Hanny with Faith Winthrop, Michele
Rosewoman, Patrick Wolff, Mark Levine, and Peck Allmond.
Drummer Jason Lewis has played with a variety of
talented musicians including: Joshua
Breakstone, John Stowell, Gary Burton, James Moody, Mark Murphy, Norma
Winstone, Larry Coryell, Darol Anger, Regina Carter, Johnny Frigo, Ann
Dyer, James Carter, Taylor Eigsti, John Handy, Anton Schwartz, Mark
Levine, Peter Apfelbaum, Cornelius Bumpus, Kurt Elling, and Boz Scaggs.
