Mike Olmos (trumpet) has become one the most in demand jazz musicians in the San Francisco Bay Area,
while maintaining a frequent national and international performance/touring schedule.
In the Bay, Mike has been performing with various bands such as the Marcus Shelby Jazz Orchestra, Lavay Smith and her Red Hot Skillet Lickers,
Pete Escovedo, Wil Blades, Eddie Roberts, Jubu, and Legally Blynd.
He has had the privilege of performing with Rosemary Clooney, Etta James, Michael Buble and many other great talents.
He can be heard on late legendary Blues/R&B singer Etta James' Grammy nominated final album "The Dreamer" as well as many others.
He performed at Chez Hanny previously with Adam Shulman, Anne Sajdera, and Ron Vincent.
Pianist Adam Shulman has been a staple of the San Francisco
Jazz scene since he moved to the city in 2002. Before the move, Adam
was a student at UC Santa Cruz where he received a degree in classical
performance. While at UCSC he studied jazz piano with Smith Dobson.
Adam can be seen as a sideman with Bay Area musicians Marcus
Shelby, Anton Schwartz, Andrew Speight, Erik Jekabson, Ed Reed, Mike
Olmos, Gary Brown, Patrick Wolff, John Wiitala, Vince Lateano, Faye
Carol, Kellye Gray, Ian Carey, and Mike Zilber, and internationally
renowned artists
Stefon Harris, Willie Jones III, Dayna Stephens, Miguel Zenon, Mark
Murphy, Alan Harris, Luciana Souza, Paula West, Larry Coryell, Sean
Jones, Grant Stewart, John Clayton, Bobby Hutcherson, Bria Skonberg,
and the Glenn Miller Orchestra.
Adam appeared here previously with Eddie Marshall, Faye Carol and
Marcus Shelby, Dayna Stephens, Harvey Wainapel, Ian Carey, Patrick
Wolff, Ratzo Harris, Mark Lewis, and Adam Shulman.
Giulio Xavier Cetto is an acoustic and electric bassist
currently living in San Francisco, California. Raised in a musical
family, he has played music all of his life. Giulio performs nationally
and internationally. He teaches master classes and private lessons and
for the past 4 years has been faculty at the Stanford Jazz Workshop.
Giulio has performed with Grammy award winning artists such as Lawrence
Hobgood, Johnathan Hoard, Fantastic Negrito and Thomas Pridgen.
Giulio’s recordings include several albums with artists such as Aaron
Janik, Javier Santiago, Justin Rock, Omree Gal-Oz, Arlyn Anderson,
Spellling, and Kev Choice.
He has also shared the stage with Dayna
Stephens, Theo Croker, Eric Lewis, Johnny O’Neal, Kassa Overall,
Yosvany Terry, Eric Harland, Ben Wendel, Eric Reed, The Le
Boeuf Brothers, Steve Turre, Carl Allen, Vincent
Herring, James Carter, Matt Clark, Roy McCurdy, Matt Wilson, Joe
Gilman, Stacy Dillard, Eric Wyatt, Akira Tana, Faye Carol, Ernie Watts,
Warren Wolf, and Joel Ross.
He has performed at Chez Hanny with the Jacam
Manricks Quartet, Jacam Manricks/Giulio Cetto/Mike Quigg/Justin
Rock, Marrs/Cherner/Cetto, and the Marina Albero Trio.
