Jon Eriksen Quartet
Jon Eriksen,
chromatic harmonica and vibraphone. Jon is
a Toots Thielmans inspired master of melody and phrasing on the harmonica,
and an elegant and rhythmically sophisticated improvisor on vibes.
Jon has been performing and
recording in the Bay Area for the past 25 years and his credits
include: Johnny Mathis, the Mills Brothers, Roger Williams, the
Spinners, Liberace, the San Francisco Symphony, the Jofferey Ballet,
Lola Falana, Bobby Vinton, and Art Van Damme.
He appeared at Chez Hanny previously with Soul Sauce.
Pianist Ken Cook
attended Berklee College of Music on a Chick Corea scholarship,
where he studied with Charlie Banacos and Jerry Bergonzi, followed by a
Masters in Jazz Performance at the New England Conservatory.
He has shared the stage or recording studio with Jimmy Giuffre, Luciana
Souza, Duke Robillard, Michelle Willson, Johnny Adams, George Russell, Bob Moses,
John Calloway, John Lockwood, Bob Gullotti, Vince Lateano, Chris
Amberger, Al Molina, Akira Tana, Art Lewis, Kendrick Freeman, Rob Roth,
Michael Aragon, and George Marsh.

Jim Kerwin is best known as the bass player for the David Grisman
Quintet, having played with David for nearly 30 years, and 10 years
playing with Jerry Garcia in the Garcia - Grisman Band.
He has worked with Yo Yo Ma, Stephane Grappelli, Sven Assmussen, Bela
Fleck, Edgar Meyer, George Marsh, Gary Burton, Herbie Hancock, Denny
Zeitlin, and Bonnie Raitt.
As a player and composer he has been part of six Grammy nominated projects.
Drummer Curt Moore has over 100 recordings to his credit, and
has performed with the Count Basie Orchestra, Ray Brown, Joyce Cooling,
John Clayton, Richard Davis, Ian Dogole, Pete Escovedo, Bruce Forman,
Mimi Fox, Jimmy Haslip, Jimmy Heath, Jackie and Roy, Andy Narell, Rufus
Reid, Francois Rabatth, and Turtle Island String Quartet.
Curt is currently teaching workshops and clinics in Bay Area schools and private lessons at his studio in South San Francisco.
Curt has appeared at Chez Hanny previously with Soul Sauce, Denny Berthiaume, and Dave Haskell.
