B3B4 Organ Jazz Quartet




Hammond organist Kevin Gerzevitz is a professional musician, composer and teacher based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He frequently performs as jazz organist with The Jules Broussard New Orleans Jazz Band, Vintage Jukebox Orchestra, B3B4 Organ Jazz Quartet, and as pianist witht the Kevin Gerzevitz Trio.

He has shared the stage with José Feliciano, Michael Manring, James Carter, Sheldon Brown, Todd Boston, Silvia Nakkach, Ed Sarath and Dave Liebman.

Kevin is from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was a student at the University of Michigan School of Music and studied piano performance, jazz studies, improvisation, and composition. Upon completing a BMA degree in 1990 with a major in Music Theory and German, he relocated to San Francisco where he has since worked as a freelance pianist, organist, accordionist, composer and teacher.

Patrick Wolff is a saxophone and clarinet player with a long history in the jazz scenes of New York City and San Francisco.

He has performed or recorded with Matt Wilson, Albert "Tootie" Heath, Grant Stewart, Louis Moholo-Moholo, Dena Derose, and many other jazz greats. Since moving to san francisco in 2009, Wolff has appeared regularly with Marcus Shelby, Richard Sears, Adam Shulman, and Diana Gameros.

With six albums released under his name, Wolff has made his mark as a bandleader with various groups playing his original compositions, and with classic jazz quartets and quintets focused on repertoire of the bebop and hard bop eras.

Guitarist Scott Foster received his Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He pursued additional music studies at University of California Davis, and private studies with Jon Damian, Rick Peckham and Henry Robinett.

Scott is an active performer as leader of the Scott Foster Trio and Quartet and as a sideman with many local groups.

His musical associates include Michael Bluestein, Dan Foltz, David Boyce, Noah Schenker, Dave Mihaly, Grant Levin, Adam Shulman, Jimmy Ryan, Chuck Peterson, Dave Scott, Larry de la Cruz, Daniel Fabricant, Sam Bevan, and Bryan Bowman.

Scott was heard previously at Chez Hanny with the Scott Foster Trio, and The Lost Trio with Scott Foster.

I have played drums for 28 years, professionally for the past 18 years and 13 years in the Bay Area.

I worked with Lavay Smith and the Red Hot Skillet Lickers for 5 years. From 1996-2000 I toured the U.S. and Europe with singer, songwriter Linda Perry (former leader of multi-platinum rock group the 4 Non Blondes); toured the US with Storm and Her Dirty Mouth, toured with the rock group Black Lab, and toured the US and Europe with Grammy winning artist Shelby Lynne, as well as appearing on the Jools Holland show, and TFIF Friday in England.

I have been featured on several CD's including Lavay Smith & The Red Hot Skillet Lickers "One Hour Mama", Sonya Hunter "Headlights and Other Constellations"(NormalRecords), Noelle Hampton "Under These Skies", Redfish Bluefish "self titled"(Racer Records), Storm and Her Dirty Mouth "self titled"(Pop Mafia Records), Steven Emerson (self titled), a personal project named the Giant Trio with Jon Evans(bassist with Tori Amos), and Tatamonk "self titled" a group featuring guitarist Alex Degrassi and multi instrumentalist Quique Cruz.
