Dan Pratt Organ Quartet

New York based tenor saxophonist and composer Dan Pratt has perfomed with Bob Brookmeyer, Kenny Werner, Joe Lovano, the Christian McBride Big Band and the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra. His updated version of the organ combo format retains the groove and adds sophisticated harmonies and modern melodic concepts, well documented on the CD "Springloaded". This quartet has been playing together since 2001, and will be climaxing a West Coast tour with this engagement, so expect some serious togetherness.

"The complete package…one of the most tremendous new saxophonists around today." -- Christian McBride
